The license is part of the distribution. It's basically the MIT license that can be found at www.opensource.org.

Hi List

I am pretty new to the mapserver-software. I like the idea and concept
behind it and I would like to use it for small mapping applications and/or
prototyping.

So I would like to know whether there are restrictions on the use of the
software and/or a licence? ( I didn't find one on the homepage...)
