[mapserver-users] More ASP and MapServer

I wanted to follow up on Brian Fischer's question with a more general one
about ASP <> MapServer.

I've been playing with MapServer for a few weeks now, and am ready to add
the functionality of scripting...It seems like a lot of people on this list
use PHP/MapScript. OTH, our company has relied heavily on ASP, so
introducing something new (PHP) might meet with some resistance.

what advantages does PHP offer over ASP?
does / can one have the same access to MapServer through ASP/VBScript as one
would have using PHP/MapScript?
