[mapserver-users] SDE queries

I've been experiencing strange behavior when nquerying (haven't been playing
with mode=query at all) SDE layers.
 
This is the site:

by default when you initialize the map three layers are on:
 
County (shapefile)
Sites (SDE Layer poly)
Contours (SDE Layer line)
 
 
1.         If I turn off all layers except sites  I get Apache errors:
 
[Wed Jun 20 08:43:22 2001] [error] [client 172.16.10.76] Premature end of
script headers: /usr/local/apache/cgi-bin/mapservsde
 
Things work fine if I switch from SDE to a shapefile
 
2.         If I leave the county shapefile turned on and try to query
sites/counties the results are inconsistent.  On some site queries things
work fine and I get results for both the sites and the counties returned:

On other site queries I only get the site header returned:

3.         If I turn on the contour layer (SDE) and query the contour
sometimes I get a hit other times not.  I almost always get a blank contour
record returned first if I do get a hit.  You will need to query several
contours until you get a hit.

It also places the results above my navigation bar (which is created using
mod_layout and called from the apache config file).  I've never seen this
behavior in other queries.
 
4.         Buildings is also an SDE layer and it behaves oddly as well.
