[mapserver-users] mapserver object

Hello
I'm trying to call mapserver as an object in javascript but it doesn't work. 
I don 't know why Can anybody help me)
The code I'm using is:
function move (fx,fy){
s=document.mapserv.imgext.value;
}
and I call it:
javascript: move(1,1)
Is there anything I have to add to use mapserver as an object)
