[mapserver-users] perl mapscript

A am using mapserver 3.5. It all compiles fine. But hen I try to use the mapscript for perl I get;

Can't load '/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux/auto/mapscript/mapscript.so' for module mapscript: /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux/auto/mapscript/mapscript.so: undefined symbol: gdImageJpeg at /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux/DynaLoader.pm line 200.

Can anyone tell me why this is. I do not even use JPEG's
