Frauke,

So this implies that you have shape files at:

/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/frauke/daten/states.shp
/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/frauke/daten/states.shx
/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/frauke/daten/states.dbf

AND the the permissions are readable by the webserver process.
