[Mapserver-users] added gifs to page do not appear

When I drop a simple gif into the page (not a mapserver object - just a =
plain ordinary image), it does not appear.

I am launching my map page from an index.html (similar to the demo =
sample), and then opening my page (myMap.html) that contains my =
mapserver app.

To enhance the look of my myMap.html I am droping a few images (gifs) =
into the page. But they do not appear when the page is launched from =
'index.html'. However, they do appear when the myMap.html is viewed =
directly in a IE browser, but since it was not launched by 'index.html' =
it dos not contain any map data.

This seems pretty trivial but I have no idea why the images are not =
appearing on my page.
