problem in loading php_mapscript.so

hello

I want to load a file that resides in "/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
if (dl("php_mapscript.so") )
{
  echo "ok \n";
}
else
{
  echo "not loaded";
}     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
this script loads the module if it runs in a file from console like php
sil.php
but  from browser "http://localhost/dene6.php" it des not load themodule

can you tell me why ?
