[Mapserver-users] Newbie Question about rasters

try putting in the full path to the raster file sush as





  LAYER # MODIS raster layer begins here
     NAME modis
#     DATA "raster/ak.jpg"
 DATA "d:/maps/raster/ak.jpg"

     STATUS DEFAULT
     TYPE RASTER
 #    PROCESSING "BANDS=1"
 #    OFFSITE 71 74 65
   END # MODIS raster layer ends here

If that does not work then check to see if the Jpeg world file is in the
same coordinate system as the the vector layers.
