CGI run error...

Hi,

I've built the 4.4.1 version and placed it in the cgi-bin directory.
When I access it from a web browser (http://localhost/cgi-bin/mapserv)
it gives the following error:
500 Internal Server Error

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was
unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, you at your.address and inform
them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done
that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Any ideas/pointers about how I could solve this?
