Serving A Large Archive an openpap-client/wms-server

I recompiled mapserver to raise the limit from 200 to 10,000 layers. It has not
posed a problem. I was serving ~25 new images per day without difficulty, all
in one mapfile. (I have since combined all the daily images into a single
mosaic per day, so the number of layers has gone down but the compiled-in limit
has been left  high.)
