perl mapscript and layer transparency

Hallo,
 
 i would like to set transparency for some layers  in my application
 and not in mapfile.

First, I would like just to print the transparency value. 

    [...]
    my $layerObj = $mapObj->getLayer($indxs[$i]);
    print  "$layerObj->{trasparency}\n";
    [...]

The only thing I get, is:

Can't locate auto/mapscript/layerObj/swig_traspa.al in @INC (@INC contains: /var/www/perl /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/perl/5.8.7 /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.7 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/perl/5.8 /usr/share/perl/5.8 /usr/local/lib/site_perl . /etc/apache/ /etc/apache/lib/perl) at /usr/lib/perl5/mapscript.pm line 29

Does anybody know, what to do with this?
