Labels using shape index

Well the ID column would have to be for all the shapes in the shapefile.
The query only returns 50 or so results. If I used the ID at that point the
numbering would not be sequential.

I'm thinking the best option at this point would be to create a temporary
annotation layer by looping through the results of the query and getting the
label point of the polygon shapes and drawing them on the map with the
ShapeID.
