Perl Mapscript 4.4 Issues

Yes Aaron, thanks for that. I have copied across the 'new' mapscript.pm and restarted Apache (a couple of times). That's not to say that I won't be really, really happy if my solution is as simple as your porposal!

At the risk of pointing out the obvious -- you did re-install
mapscript.pm when you upgraded MS?  That doesn't happen automatically.
