How to test Java MapScript?

Hi,

I've just downloaded the newest MapServer from UMN, but how could I do a
simple test just to check if Java MapScript was correctly installed.

On PHP I always do a :
..
dl("php_mapscript.so");
phpinfo();
...

and then load and draw a simple MapFile.
