Hi John,
No guarantees that I got this right, but you could try adding the following
entry to your "FWTools/share/proj/epsg" file:
# Guatemala Transverse Mercator
<001234> +proj=tmerc +x_0=500000.000000 +y_0=0 +lon_0=-90.5 +lat_0=0
+k=0.999800 +ellps=WGS84 +datum=WGS84 +to_meter=0.3048006096012192 +no_defs
<>
Then you should be able to acces it by using "EPSG:001234" in your -s_srs
parameters.
