[mapserver-users] Compile mapserver with custom external libs

I may be mistaken here,
But when you compiled geos, gdal,and pgsql you specified the install
path of the program.
the libraries will go where libraries are suppose to go eg '/usr/lib'
'/usr/local/lib' etc...
so other programs can find them..
