[Marketing] catching up with board objectives

Amen brother Marc! (just to show I read entire content).

All I've read so far sounds great.
Go for it. I suggest being careful not to over-commit initially, until 
the volunteer base builds up. Identify what you personally can achieve, 
and do a great job of it, (which it sounds like you will do).  Success 
breeds success and hopefully will attract more volunteers.
