[MOSS-archives] Happy new year / EGU call for submissions

Hello MOSS community,

happy new 2022 to you all !

The call for abstracts for the annual EGU General Assembly is open until January 12 (https://www.egu.eu/news/869/call-for-abstracts-to-the-egu-general-assembly-2022-now-open/).

At last years EGU 2021 a proof of concept was demonstrated with MOSS how to link a repo with a DOI and why this is essential to preserve research software.
In the meantime a lot has happened: MOSS has become a OSGeo heritage project and a growing number of OSGeo projects has started to embrace DOI.
I believe this merits an update at EGU 2022, based on the work for the FORCE2021 conference.
