[OpenLayers-Dev] TransformFeature control maybe missing some kind of unselect?

Hi,
the TransformFeature control seem to miss an unselect feature function, or
am I just to blind.
This control works in some way like the SelectFeature control because you
have to have a feature selected to see the box around it. While in the
SelectFeature you can click outside of any feature and the one previously
selected will no longer be selected.
I think it would be nice to have the same functionality at the
TransformFeature control.
Maybe it is a bit related to http://trac.openlayers.org/ticket/2632 as there
is also stated a lack of usability.
