[OpenLayers-Dev] Help with where to look for a bug - drawFeatures controls not working at ONE zoom level.

At one zoom level (~1:5,000,000), a drawfeature control stops drawing on 
the select layer. ie the blue circle on mouse position is missing, the 
polygon path is not displayed (though it still works), and the response 
handler doesnt highlight the results. It seems the layer that it uses 
has somehow become invisible. Can anyone quickly point me to the source 
js where blue circle for mouse position is drawn? (thought that a fast 
way to get to where the problem might be).
