[OpenLayers-Dev] Classification on layer

Hi

I am new in openlayer/Geoserver.

Can anyone please tell me how to perform classification on layer?

Like if i want to show particular type of building in Red color and other in
green and so on.. How can I do this using openlayer/geoserver and postgres?

please provide me link of example.
