[OpenLayers-Users] REPEAT QUESTION - How do I prevent my map from zooming out too far?

Hi Andreas,

   Thanks for your response.  Do these options need to be set for the base
layer or for the map?  Also, do you have an example of the values that would
confine my map to just one view of the world?

Hi,

there are many ways to do that, combine one or more of the options
below to achieve the result you need:

 * set a maxExtent for your base layer
 * set a maxResolution for the base layer,
 * configure a resolutions or scales array for your base layer
