[OpenLayers-Users] How can I display a map with a position changing marker.

After i displayed a map from the geoserver, i want to add a marker whose
position is changing. The position information(lat,lon) comes from the web
server(JAVA) and it changes per second.
How can I realize it? What is the code in the Brower and the web server?
Or, which technology should i use? Ajax, HTTPRequest, or the other?
