[OpenLayers-Users] How to make panzoombar invisible

Hi all,

 

I want to make the panzoombar control invisible when I deactivate it so
that I can make it visible again if activated.

I found issue 1764 stating this won't be released soon.

 

But is there a way I can do it programmatically.

I already tried setting the display of the control.div to none but that
doesn't work
