[OpenLayers-Users] Onclick focus on a set region

hi guys,

if i have to put a link/button outside the map, which if the user
clicks, the map would zoom into set co ordinates. how would i go about
that. i can hard code the co-ords but am not sure what should i
trigger.

can somebody help.
