[OpenLayers-Users] Permalink does not work

Hello list,

my permalink doesnt work and I dont know why.

I just trying to know when the webpage is loaded by accesing url or by permalink access because I saw something in a OL example, but it doesn’t work…

If (!map.getCenter()) map.zoomToMaxExtent();

Anyway I have improved this:

If (!map.getCenter()) {

            map.zoomToMaxExtent();

            alert(“no center”);

} else alert(“center”);

 

And in both cases (loading the webpage or clicking the permalink) it shows “center”… so I don’t understand… what is this for?

 

In my source code I have a map options where I defined “maxEstent: mybound,”

And I added in map controls a permalink.

 

Well if I click over the permalink my webpage get reloaded but it zooms to default and I lose any actual map zoom or position.

What could I do to fix this?
