Hi,

Always be sure to mention the OL version you are using! Try to use the last
version of course. 

If you have a doubt about what the API offers to you and how it works,
please take your time to read the documentation:

Apparently you're trying to get the properties values before the object is
ready.. I can't know that for sure as I can't know how you've coded it but
taking a look at the events you are available to use won't hurt you. ;)
