Mapfish client = GeoExt + Openlayers
GeoExt = ExtJS + Openlayers

I use Mapfish just as client! It has very nice widgets that would safe you a
couple of hours coding.. The result is the same you would obtain coding with
GeoExt because both use ExtJS (BTW, now
http://www.sencha.com/blog/2010/06/14/ext-js-jqtouch-raphael-sencha/ Sencha
).

I think you have already looked at the
http://demo.mapfish.org/mapfishsample/1.2/ Mapfish examples but here's the
link anyway.

It is not complex at all! Just download the client and enjoy! =)

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the
world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is
condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only
begotten Son of God." John 3:16-18
