[OpenLayers-Users] Overview Maps of asynchronous map layers

Does the overview map control work "out-of-the-box" with asynchronous map
layers?

When I tried this scenario, I get a bounds error when the OverviewMap
control calls zoomToExtent()

Any hints/examples are highly appreciated...
