Thanks Andreas, that does more or less work. Annoyingly, you cant fetch 
an SLD with a GET in Chrome - only by wrapping it a function call and 
doing script injection (as you have to do for geoJSON too). I think I 
will create a tool to read sld this way and serialise userStyle[0] for 
placement in a file. That way I can tweak some mismatches.
