[OpenLayers-Users] tiled + vector layer printing / missing tiles

Hi,
i am trying to get printing to work in Firefox (Dont care about other browsers).
As i am trying to print a mix of layers server side stitching is not an option.

The Vector layer and decorations work perfectly in printing. The tiles OSM
layer below is simply "gone". It fails to load it seems.  In print preview
everyting is nice, in PDF export or print the layer is missing or sometimes
single or multiple tiles are missing. It seems the browser opens a
shadow-window to print and does not wait for all tiles to be loaded before
printing.

And hints?

It seems with openlayers the browser is not able to determin when a page
finishes loading.
