Hey Gang.
For those mapserver folks, of course we could do a mapserver thing. I
was only volunteering where my expertise lie. Jeff, you volunteering to
do the mapserver stuff (smile)?
About the machines.
Some options would exist, but perhaps the easiest would be to grab a
live CD. GISIX if it is still around. Looks a little dated (2006)

I have been thinking of learning about how to create a GIS centric
Ubuntu distro. With it's grwing popularity as peoples first intro to
Linux, and with the fairly dedicated Debian GIS Crew this might be an
option (http://wiki.debian.org/DebianGis)... of course unless there is a
canned live CD already.
Teresa, do you know who our main points of contact would be to propose
the idea?
Of course we don't need to run linux as all options should be feasible
on windows, so maybe setting up a GIS centric windows Ghost for
Algonquin could be a temp fix.
Thoughts?....
Are people even interested din this or is this getting too much?
