Hi, Alex,

I finally deboostrap'ed a woody testbed, and did:

kingfisher:~# apt-get build-dep libpgjava
Reading Package Lists...
Building Dependency Tree...
Package j2sdk1.3 has no available version, but exists in the database.
This typically means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and
never uploaded, has been obsoleted or is not available with the contents
of sources.list
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  ant binutils debconf-utils debhelper dpkg-dev file gcc-3.0-base
gij-3.0 html2text java-common libgcc1 libgcj2 libgdbmg1 libxerces-java
make patch perl perl-modules
0 packages upgraded, 18 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
E: Package j2sdk1.3 has no installation candidate
E: Failed to process build dependencies

So it seems that the postgres.jar maintainers used some blackdown or sun
jdk to compile. This might indicate that it will not work with those
free JVMs and java runtime libraries that are in woody.
