Comment(by strk):

 r12766 fixes the support for --extension and sfcgal switch, fixing the
 "postgis_sfcgal_version" availability during testing.

 But still, the 'unrecognized configuration parameter "postgis.backend"'
 comes out on make check (no matter upgrade switches)
