 Just some extra information:
 Geometry is in 4326 (WGS84), which does seem to have some drawbacks, but
 the results I'm seeing here are only when this particular polygon (1351)
 is added to the mix. I did have a lot of other polygons (about 3000 of
 them) in that area, but none of them produced those rounded/truncated
 results.
 (Was quite a struggle to pinpoint this issue on that specific polygon)
