 After configure, make and make install all seemed all right. But in fact,
 postgis.control were not copied in the postgres extension directory and
 CREATE EXTENSION postgis sql command failed.

 Finally make check complained that xsltproc was missing. PostGIS
 installation succeeded after installing that package.

 Shouldn't configure first complains and fails?
