 Apparently the behaviour in proj 5 has changed and it's not resetting
 pj_errno when it resets the context errno. I've opened a PR there
 (https://github.com/OSGeo/proj.4/pull/808/files) so I'll keep this open to
 see if it gets merged and we can clean up the code a bit.
