Comment (by strk):

 The affirmation "we add the most accurate lines first" is to be
 considered. How can a line be accurate, if not ONLY via their
 vertexes ? Vertexes are what you measure, not lines. Is this not
 the case ?

 Aren't vertexes inherently always the most accurate data at our
 disposal ?
