 I get many failures in relate_bnr test with GEOS-3.8.4 (latest in the
 EOL'd 3.8 branch of GEOS), starting with:

 I don't see this happening on the bots, but:
  - GitHub runs 3.8.2
  - GitLab does only run 3.11
  - Dronie/Woodie run 3.10

 So this may be something between GEOS-3.8.2 and GEOS-3.8.4
