[postgis-users] using avpgcon

Armin et al, 
I am trying to get the avpgcon utility to work in ArcView 3.2, and get the 
following messqage after clicking the 'Table' button in the add postgis theme 
dialog:

"could not send startup packet: the system cannot find message for message 
number 0x%1 in message file %2. (0x0000013D) "

Anyone have a clue as to what I am doing wrong?
