Have a look at pgarc: http://pgarc.sourceforge.net

I haven't tested it, but it seems to be an extension which allows ArcGIS 
to access PostGIS. It may worth a try.

  In the article in http://www.safe.com/news/2003/sept16_2003.htm, it said
FME can support  to export to Post GIS .
