generally speaking, each time a version tool is available I try the
compilation and the tests ....
(see http://www.01map.com/download/ )

I'd prefer waiting postgis 1.RC1 is available...I will send mails to
pginstaller team  (Magnus ...)
to give them instructions on how compil if there are differences on how to
compil
(see for example
http://postgresqlwin32.free.fr/Tutorial_PostGIS/pg800/compil_info.txt )
between two versions.
