[postgis-users] Cygwin PostGIS Installer Problem

Hello All,

Marc-Andre Morin reported a problem with the Cygwin PostGIS
installer 0.8.0 and the latest Cygwin PostgreSQL version (7.4.1).

Currently, I don't have a Windows machine around to reproduce the
problem (or create an updated version of the installer).

If you are experiencing the problem, you should find similar lines like

psql:/usr/share/postgresql/contrib/postgis.sql:41: ERROR:  Load of file
/usr/lib /postgresql/postgis.dll failed: dlopen: Win32 error 127

in c:\cygwin\tmp\create_dcmms.log

As a workaround, you can try to use Cygwin PostgreSQL 7.4 with
the 0.8.0 Cygwin PostGIS installer (If you still have a copy around).

If you have encountered similar problems, please share them
with the mailing list.
