[postgis-users] Bounding Box Query

That last message from me was supposed to say "Right on! Nice work
Jason..." Without the "on!" it sounds very sarcastic which absolutely not
what I intended.

Right. Nice work Jason. Are you going to become an official maintainer?
Do you have an associated website for the FreeBSD port? If so, let me know
and I will remove my FreeBSD install notes from our website and point them
to you instead.

FreeBSD users might enjoy the attached. It's a ports skeleton for a PostGIS
port. Untar it into /usr/ports. cd into /usr/ports/databases/postgis and
just
"make install" as for any other port.

Caveats:

1) It probably should have a pkg-message saying "read the readme about how
to
enable it for your database. So I'm telling you now.

2) It only works for the current stable version of postgres (e.g.
databases/postgres7 for a current ports tree, currently 7.4.2).

3) It will use the proj port unless you tell it not to (-DWITHOUT_PROJ).

4) I have gomoos.org listed as an alternate download site, even though the
source tarball is not actually there.

Cheers,
Jason
