[postgis-users] display of PostGIS SRID 4326 data via mapserver

Hi,

We're using mapserver (4.4.1) to display data from a PostGIS database
that are in lon/lat, SRID 4326.  Is there a convention or restriction
that says the longitudes should only be in the range [-180, 180]? 
Points with longitudes in the range (180, 360] aren't showing up in
our maps.  If anyone can point me to documentation about this, I'd
appreciate it.
