Hello,

   I've released some version of gisbox - gentoo based gis livecd..
You can try it out. There is key applications like postgis(1.0.1)
+mapserver(4.6.0) +mwc2-templates, grass(6.0.1), qgis(0.7.4) and some
other. Everything ready to use...(i hope :) This can be used by begining
users, which want to compare they favorite aplications on cygwin and
native linux, or some open - source gis newbies to explore new
capabilities. Definitelly nothing for advanced, expirienced users.

  Unfortunatelly cd is in most of its text content targeted to czech
users, so index.html demonstration data, and some tutors are
ununderstable for english people. For programs everyone can set LC_ALL
however. (still boot option "no so much czech" would work)
