[postgis-users] PosGis shutdown with request using within

Hi
All thegemetries hhave been tested with the isvalid() function.
I don't understand why the within operator fails even though geometris are
valids
Beside this, the only logs i get is that the postmaster process aws
terminated by signal 11

You should be able to kill the backend process via the task manager.

Some "within" queries may need lots of CPU time for complex polygons.

That the query shutdowns the Postmaster process seems to be a bug.

Can you try to identify some pairs of geometries that forthe the Postmaster
to shutdown?

And can you run isvalid() against all geometries involved, to make shure
they're all valid?
