Strange... I'm having trouble understanding those diff formats. Could
you try something else - in the regress/ subdirectory, comment out line 
139 in the file run_test which states: rm "${OUTFILE}" # diff is enough
and then re-run the regression tests and zip up the directory contents
again?

Note that I only need the directory from the current run, i.e. only
one /tmp/pgis_reg_* directory which will contain the diffs for the last
run - the regression output will tell you which is the correct number
for the last run.
