[postgis-users] Topology and pgRouting

Hi List,

 

I’m trying to get into pgRouting...

So I’ve stumbled upon the necessity of creating a topology for my road
network


 

Everything is in place (pgrouting and topolyà with schema ‘topology’ and all
the underlying functions there).

 

Perusing the docs at refractions.net I found them a bit ‘cryptic’ let alone
scarce


I know that Topology is still at an Alpha stage
 but.

 

I’ve already successfully created the topogeometry column for my road
network table.

 

Now
 How to insert the topology objects? (blush)

Could I consider Openjump to do the task?

 

Better yet: could someone be kind enough to point me to a good example of
overall implementation?
